Volunteered to help out the third year students with their new designers exhibition. As their graduation was the same day, they needed a few second years to set up final parts of the exhibition back in London. This involved screwing in final shelves and positioning publications and work. This enabled me to see first hand what the fair was like before my year were involved with the fair next year. This years design was perfect for the work on display. The plywood surfaces that hung on and off the Japanese frames and valleyed book stands complimented the 3d printed, digital and concreted work on display. I would say that the massive shelving uni at the from of the exhibition hid too much work that it was suppose to display, felt a little like a classroom shelf.
