In recent weeks I have been collecting primary research through site visits and replies to emails. Specifically, I have received a number of emails from Stack founder Steve Watson and Real Foundation founder and architect Jack Self. As mentioned in my previous blog posts he is also the co-creator of the Real Review, a publication I am huge fan of. Jarrold print museum was another great source of information for my research report in terms of the history of the printed word. Luckily I went on the display day and saw quite few of the older press and machines in action. Learning, firsthand, more about the moveable type presses, monotype machines and the print masters of newspaper pages.
