A Type Primer

October 25, 2017

Is like the bible for graphic design beginners. It has everything from famous graphic design and graphic design movements, the basics of typography and layouts. Colour combinations and design style for different uses. I wished I had gone further in to the exercises and the information than just reading and taking notes, it seemed like the type of book to only prove truly useful to a reader that has given it time and followed the exercises with a huge amount of effort. I plan to go back through the book and do all the prosed exercises, I feel as though this is a huge part of the solution what I was looking for when wanting basic graphic design education.
