'We challenged ourselves to create a visual language for our users that synthesises the classic principles of good design with the innovation and possibility of technology and science. I was inspired a great deal by the google interface design project from projects in my second year of university, exploring the transition of the publication from tactile and physical to digital had forced a consideration of the methods of development interface designers used to make google, among other companies', products useful and easy to use by users. The most prominent factors of the design process was to boldness and simplicity of actions, options and buttons on the screen, associating movement with a useful action or amount of information and using the tactile features of real life objects, such as books and storage items to add a sense of depth to an otherwise flat, empty screen.
