Walking around the Egyptian wing of the British Library forces you to consider the importance this period in time and kingdom of people had over the communication systems and languages today. Having the Rosetta stone placed at the entrance obviously suggests its contributions alongside latin and Hebrew. The other standout feature were also, of course the visual iconography that most of the world prefer to mention about this intelligent group of people. Interesting to find out the practical uses and history of the materials aesthetics behind the bold pieces that most people today thought was a fashion choice.
